Statement of the fund manager Ondřej Žídek on the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic on the performance of NOVA Green Energy fund
Now comes good news. The global coronavirus pandemic does not affect the performance of NOVA Green Energy.
"Indeed, the green energy that we produce and supply is not dependent on fluctuations in the financial or capital markets. We sell the produced energy at guaranteed prices. Moreover, electricity consumption in the countries where we operate (Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary) will only take place elsewhere when people move home to work from a home office," says fund manager Ondřej Žídek.
"However, should production be significantly reduced, it is necessary to realize that the share of renewable energy in the energy mix is around 10-15%. In addition, these resources have preferential access to the electricity grid, so I do not see the potential possibility of any limitations and thus no impact on NOVA Green Energy assets," adds Ondřej Žídek.
